A QUIRKY COUPLE

I've been tagged by Laura to post 6 quirky things about myself.

Here are the rules:

1. Link to the person who tagged you.
2. Mention the rules on your blog.
3. Tell about six unspectacular quirks of yours.
4. Tag six fellow bloggers by linking them.
5. Leave a comment on each of the six blogger’s blogs letting them know they’ve been tagged.

So here goes.. Here are my 6 quirks..

1) My motto is "Safety First". Some people call it paranoia. Others say it's OCD. I MUST have my house doors locked at all times. Even if I leave to get the mail that is 100 yards away, I lock them. Our curtains must be completely overlapped at night to where there are no cracks where someone just might be able to see inside. When I get ready in the morning (even with the blinds shut), I don't like turning on the light in my bedroom if it's not light outside - I don't want anyone to see in.

2) My vocabulary includes the word "like". I use it like the word "the". It's like a bad habit that I like just can't break. :)

3) I get teased for the way I view the human body. No one will ever look the same to me. I analyze and break down gait (walking) patterns, identify functional limitations, and critique their every move. At least I know I've gotten something out of being in PT school.

4) I sleep on my side and I must have a pillow between my legs - It's great to protect your back. :)

5) When I highlight things, it must be neat. I can't stand a sloppy paper! If it's off in the least bit, I highlight it 'til it's fixed and there's an equal amount of highlight above and below the word/phrase.

6) I cannot stand a wet bathroom floor. If you know you're gonna drip when you get out of the shower, either dry off a lil better or put a towel on the floor.. and if that doesn't work, wipe it up after you're done!

For an added bonus, here are Robbie's 6 quirks..

1) He refuses to drink milk after anyone, even me. We can share any other drink, but there's something about the consistency of milk.

2) Robbie is like the Bubble Boy. Luckily, marriage has allowed me to burst that bubble, but he blows it back up around anyone else.

3) If it were up to Robbie, sheets wouldn't exist. It's even worse if I make him leave them on the bed and they're tucked in.

4) Robbie requires peace and quiet in the morning. It's a good thing we aren't up at the same time. I'm a talker, and the one time we tried getting up at the same time, I apparently drove him nuts.

5) His obsession? Lists. If it needs to get done, he makes a list. It it needs to be bought, he makes a list. If it needs to be paid, he makes a list. If his wife needs to get something done, he makes a list - and I tear it up.

6) Blue shirts with blue jeans? Not happening.. Not even baby blue, royal blue, navy blue, etc with light jeans, dark jeans, etc.. He's picky I tell you!

So now to tag some people.. My blogger list is limited. If they came from facebook, however, that'd be a different story.
I tag Kimberly, Melissa, Heather, and Ashley.
Happy quirky posting!
