Around 10 o'clock last night, Robbie and I decided to call it a night. We crawled into bed and were watching HGTV's "House Hunters", where a couple who had triplet girls were looking for a house with more space. I asked Robbie what he would do if we had triplet girls. His response was, "I would chop off my manhood!" My next question to him was what he would want to name them. "Do, Re, Mi," he said. I quickly started praying to God that I would NOT give birth to triplet girls. Curious to see if he was sexist, I asked the same questions about triplet boys. "I would never mow the lawn again, and I would name them Curly, Larry, and Mo." My prayers quickly turned into begging. I guess this is a clue that we have a lot of compromise to do before that day comes. :)
Later on that very same night..
Robbie and I were cuddling and one of his arms was up near my head. I realized he had fallen asleep before I had, so I just lay there thinking of what I would want to name our kids. Not even five minutes after falling asleep, Robbie twitched and at the same time, pulled my hair really hard. I screamed and started laughing. He quickly awoke, mumbling words, trying to figure out what was going on. When inquiring as to why he pulled my hair so hard, his half asleep response was "I had a dream I was fishing, and I was trying to hook it on my pole!" Who the heck does that?! :) I pushed the conversation a little further and said, "If I were a fish, what kind of fish would I be?" Well I'll now tell you that he gave the response that NO WOMAN wants to hear - "A PUFFER"!!!
WHAT?! A Puffer?? Who tells their wife that? "At least I didn't say a whale," he said, still mumbling in a half conscious state of mind. We all know that whales are mammals so that wouldn't have counted anyway. I decided to take a quiz "What kind of fish are you?" and my results showed that I was a tiger shark.. Guess I'll have to prove it to him later. :)
