Wednesday night was just another typical night for us: Me on the couch reading through Neuroscience notes and Robbie on the couch watching Sports Center. I noticed he had disappeared for a while and this meant one of two things. He had either gone to the office to play some Wii or he was up to something no good. After a period of time, I realized I hadn't heard any expressions of frustrations coming from our office, which meant he was not playing Wii. I then heard him calling my name, asking me to come to where he was.
When I walked into the office, he directed my attention to our dry erase board. (This was originally bought for me to use for school, such as drawing the Brachial Plexus or Circle of Willis, but he has since taken over). It was then that I saw something I didn't want to see. A "HoneyDo List" with 21 different chores/instructions! After reading through them, laughing throughout, I then explained to him that, as physical therapists, when we give our patints a home exercise program (HEP), it is to include 2 - 3 exercises only so they don't become overwhelmed and avoid them all together. Therefore, I told him I would only be able to complete the first three tasks. That answer wasn't good enough for him. He expected for each one to be completed by Friday morning when he returned home from work. "I'll see what I can do," I said, while smiling in a way that you only do to your husband. :)
This story wouldn't be as good without some pictures, so, with Robbie's permission, I show you this.. (I apologize for the lack of quality, but the glare was horrible, so I had to capture it without a flash)
FYI, most of these are examples of him being a butthead b/c they revolved around stuff that I usually do - like go on facebook or watch crappy TV shows. I don't know why, but after sitting in lectures 8 hours a day, mindless TV shows are entertaining. :) Also, previously that day, I was told that our closet was full of my clothes, my drawers were overflowing, and our bed was covered with clothes that he couldn't put away due to lack of room, so I had to get rid of at least two bags of clothing. I changed it to one bag. :)
